A mini course providing learners with a foundation in A3 Problem Solving
Course Features
What will you learn?
A3 Thinking drives learning and continuous improvement in the most efficient way possible. This learning programme details the foundation principles of this lean approach as applied to problem solving, examines each step in the problem solving process and then shows how these steps fit into the A3 methodology and align to each other.
This mini-course provides learners with a foundation in A3 problem solving without exploring all of the details of how to complete each step in the problem solving process. Instead, it teaches the overriding philosophy behind A3 thinking as applied to problem solving, and how the problem solving process should be approached in its entirety. This system-level understanding is what separates holistic problem solvers from those who focus on individual elements of the process. This course therefore provides problem solvers with a solid foundation in advance of exploring more of the details of the various individual elements of problem solving. A case study is used to show how each step is completed and how an A3 problem solving record sheet is completed in practice.
Who should attend this course?
This course is aimed at problem solvers from all industries, particularly those who would like to better understand best practice problem solving principles and gain a deeper understanding of the A3 approach to problem solving. The course is applicable for those with a limited knowledge of problem solving or experienced problem solvers who are not familiar with the A3 approach to problem solving.
